Screening braid is a cost effective solution for shielding wire bundles from electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC). In many applications cable screening is important to either minimize cross-talk within the cable or prevent internal or external sources of interference.

HBT99 is available in tin plated and nickel plated copper and provides optical coverage of between 93% and 99%. It is supplied on a former to maintain its round form and to aid its application and is recommended for wire systems demanding higher levels of protection from EMI.
